What is the reminder card?

The reminder card is sent by mail to everyone registered on the list of electors. It includes information on how to prepare for voting, the polling dates and locations of your polling stations, and (on the back) the names of the candidates.

Why isn’t the card addressed to me?

The names of all persons on the electoral list who are registered at the same address are indicated in the upper right-hand portion of the reminder card. All voters living at this address will be able to use the same reminder card.

Where do I go to vote?

The address and contact information for your polling place is indicated at the bottom of the reminder card. The locations and times for both advance polls and election days are indicated.

Do I need to bring my reminder card to vote?

No, you don’t need the reminder card to vote. However, this document will help election officials serve you better when you go to vote.

I lost my reminder card. Are there other ways to find out where to vote?

You can find the same information given on the reminder card on this website and in the Where do I vote? section, using the tool at the bottom of the page. Of course, once you know where to go, you can go to your polling place even if you don’t have your reminder card in hand.
