Élections Montréal is the organization that conducts elections within the City of Montréal in a neutral, impartial and non-partisan manner.

Élections Montréal is led by a chief returning officer, who is the city clerk. In particular, the city clerk’s office sees to the proper conduct and integrity of the election.

Just like the chief returning officer, Élections Montréal personnel carry out their tasks with the strictest neutrality and in compliance with the Act respecting Élections and Referendums in Municipalities.
